Hi, my name is Opal Rockport!
I started this blog as a way to surround myself with the things I love; things like all-encompassing beauty, nourishing foods, wellness, creativity and writing. I grew up in Southern California, balancing my interests in dance, cheerleading, and academics.
I attended California State University Northridge and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Holistic Health Education. While studying I worked part time at a makeup boutique where I legitimized my interest in the beauty industry by immersing myself into the beauty business and soaking up all the information and contacts I possibly could during that time.
After college I married the most amazing man and we became partners in both life and business; working together in the automotive industry. We are raising four beautiful children together and trying to make them good, kind-hearted people (no easy task in this crazy world we live in.)
I recently became Reiki Certified to help nurture and heal any way I can. My days are currently spent studying Holistic Health Sciences and striving to find balance. A sincere “thank you” for being a loyal reader.
