I have been on a quest to find vegan and cruelty-free boxes that I can share with our readers and I found another box that is definitely worth the hype. I introduce you to Love Goodly a box that is eco-friendly, vegan, cruelty-free and nontoxic. “Each box has a mix of full-size products, focused on nontoxic beauty and skincare, as well as eco-style or home accessories, healthy snacks and wellness products.” http://www.lovegoodly.com/
Aside from featuring great products from amazing brands, what makes this subscription box stand out is that they support their charity partner Farm Sanctuary. I love when companies not only provide brands that are vegan but also give back to other charities or companies that are trying to make a difference in the world of animals.
Now on to the products inside their Feb/March 2018 box:
Source Vital Jasmine Eye Balm $28.95 6g jar https://www.sourcevital.com/products/jasmine-eye-balm
This eye balm smells amazing! I put the eye balm at night and the first time I used it I felt an immediate hydration. I felt as if I was wearing an eye patch/mask for hydration. It didn’t feel sticky and my skin looked refreshed in the morning. If you put the eye balm in the refrigerator it will give you an amazing cooling effect. It really wakens my eyes and makes them look youthful, I just wish they had another product to make the rest of my face and body have the same effect.
Cypress Skincare Lash Love $29.00 11ml eyelash bottle http://cypressskincare.com/?product=lash-love
This was definitely a unique product as it is supposed to nourish eyebrows and support lash growth and it can also hydrate your lips! I haven’t been using this long enough to know if it works but it has 100% organic castor and hemp oils which is known to definitely nourish our strands.
LesserEvil Buddha Bowl Organic Popcorn $2.00 https://lesserevil.com/
Whenever I get popcorn in a box, I never get to try it out because my daughters run and rip open the package. Before I know it, the product is all gone. When I question them, all they can say is that it tasted delicious. It is definitely kid approved!
MyChelle Daily Defense Cream SPF 17 $18.00 http://www.mychelle.com/Daily-Defense-Cream-SPF-17
I loved this product! I have used MyChelle products in the past and I definitely loved this SPF cream. It came in a 35ml bottle which was easy to dispense the product onto my hands. The cream was not sticky or greasy and penetrated into my skin smooth and quickly. My makeup did not cake or smear as it has in the past with other SPF products. I definitely recommend this product, I just wish it had a higher SPF protection.
Hurraw! Lip Balm Mint Lip Balm $3.79 https://hurrawbalm.com/products/mint
This is a smoothing lip balm with the mint scent that came in a .17oz stick. It felt smooth and definitely kept my lips hydrated.
Dermae Deluxe Sample Overnight Peel $2.95 https://dermae.com/collections/top-10-best-sellers/products/overnight-peel
I used this product on two separate nights and I like the how it brightens my skin the next day. It has alpha hydroxy acids which help exfoliate the skin with its blend of glycolic sugar cane and fruit acids. I wish this product came in a large container because there is very little product left in the 7ml tube. 🙁
Overall I have only positive things to say about this Love Goodly February/March box. I discovered new brands that I had never heard of before and I got a nice surprise from a brand I enjoy. I also liked that they included a 20% off a la carte coupon from Veestro (gourmet plant-based meals delivered). I haven’t used it yet but I will in the near future.I really can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in Love Goodly next box. What are your thoughts on this box?
