Urban Decay’s Naked Line
I have every naked product that Urban Decay has ever launched, and they have been the best investment ever! For years I handpicked single shade eyeshadows to fit my signature makeup look because palettes just never seemed to get it right. Then the original Naked eyeshadow collection came around and I’ve never looked back. I have since amassed a collection of Naked products like the Flush Cheek set with bronzer and blush; the Naked Basics and all of the spin offs because I can’t believe how they always seem to stay on point.
Until recently when I purchased a limited-edition eyeshadow palette by Charlotte Tilbury; Urban Decay had replaced every single eyeshadow I had ever used in my sea of different makeup brands. To dominate my cosmetic real-estate is quite a feat considering how I jump from brand to brand always trying to top what already works. My favorite by far; the Naked 2. The Naked 2 my absolute love; inspired by rose gold tones, it conjures up complements every time I wear it. Some shades are matte, some satin, others, full on frost but the collections are thoroughly thought out – always seeming to pull together to create an epic look.
When I heard my teenage niece was beginning to experiment with eye looks I shipped out a Naked set because I knew she couldn’t go wrong. Like handing over the reins to a family legacy I picture my daughter at 15 opening up the Urban Decay Naked Vault on her birthday and understanding that you never need to mess with perfection. Yes, there are other notable mentions out there from other makeup brands but if were talking about a collection that consistently gets it right…the award goes to Urban Decay.
