I diligently research the best, up-and-coming, unique and inspiring cruelty-free and vegan brands in the market. During my search, I discovered a beautifully packaged and sassy brand named Trust Fund Beauty. I first have to say that I love the backstory of this brand; Samara Granofsky created the brand after her mothers passing. She wanted others to have non-toxic nail polishes that were still trendy and cool with a little bit of humor (incredibly funny product names). Her company started only doing nail polishes in the beginning but have now branched out to include a great makeup collection.
After looking at all the products online https://trustfundbeauty.com/ I immediately contacted the company to learn more. I was gifted four fabulous summer products to review:
Side Eye – Loose shimmery super pigmented eyeshadow in the most unique color imaginable. Imagine a rose taupe color but when you apply it, it goes on very light with a mix of golden and mint colored glitter/sparkles. Soooo cute!
Wasted On Whiskey – so appropriately titled. It is a beautiful gold pigmented shimmery eyeshadow that goes on so smooth and truly looks dazzling on the lids. My new favorite shimmery eyeshadow!
That Liquid Glo Tho – Lit AF – is a liquid highlighter in rose gold. Imagine a beautiful glow outlining your cheekbones, chin, forehead, brow bone, bridge of the nose and your cupid’s bow – this is the glow stuff that dreams are made of. I also love how it stays on and doesn’t smear like other highlighters do. I had my glow on from morning to night…very impressive!
Lipgasm Lipgloss – Text Me – is a nonsticky pigmented lipgloss in a cool tone gold shade. I am usually not a fan of lipgloss because it weighs down my lips and makes me feel like I have a glob of sticky thick oil on my lips. Luckily for me, this was not the case. The lipgloss was indeed nonsticky and gave my lips a nice shimmery color. My lips looked thick and luscious and very kissable (according to my husband 😉
I have to say that this was truly a great discovery for me. Looking at the quality of the products and the success of the brand, it is safe to say that Samara surely achieved what she set out to do in honor of her mother and her memory.
