I have been hearing about the Yogi Surprise box for quite a long time but for whatever reason, I never got the box. Boy have I been missing out. This box is truly incredible and has so many amazing products inside. The box comes nicely packed with a beautiful quote on the inside flap of the box: “Live Your Dharma.” You then continue to become more inspired by the card above all your products stating to “Embrace New Adventures. Celebrate sunshine, nature and new sights! Welcome the spirit of wanderlust and take your practice outdoors with this month’s awesome offerings.” I really love the inspirational message behind this month’s box and couldn’t wait to see what was inside.
The Yogi Surprise Sequence awaited inside showcasing the Forward Fold, Standing Prayer Backbend, Downward Dog, Chair Pose, Tree and Warrior 3 pose. Super cute!
Now, on to the products…
I will start with my favorite item inside the box, a beautiful rough Crystal Quartz Pendant necklace. This necklace is absolutely stunning and the crystal is of such great quality. I love how they included a white faux-leather cord to change the look of the necklace as it originally came with a gold colored chain. I really LOVE this item!
The next really great item is the Hip Pack by Aloha. This adjustable hip pouch is made of “100% coated Tyvek to keep your valuables safe from splashes, spills, and weather.” The material feels great and I always love using these types of bags when I am on vacation or running around places with the kids. It great being hands-free but having your phone, wallet, and keys at a reachable distance.
If you are a tea lover then you are definitely going to love the next item: an African Chai Tea by JusTea. It is a sweet and spicy cold-brew blend. I brewed it and then refrigerated it overnight so that I didn’t water it down with too much ice. You can definitely taste the cinnamon and cloves. This was the “trying a new adventure” for me since I normally get fruitier-style tea blends.
I love Aloe Vera and thanks to this box, I have an Aloe Vera Gel by Badger. This gel really feels as though I am squeezing the juice of the Aloe Vera plant. It went on smooth and slithery just like the plant but totally refreshing to the skin especially after a long squelching hot day at the pool.
The next item is one you can’t leave home without especially if you go camping or hiking. Nantucket Spider Natural Bog Repellant is made with citronella and essential oils and is a great alternative to chemical-based repellants. The smell is actually pleasant and didn’t leave my skin feeling oily or sticky.
Another cool little surprise inside the box was a 3-month gift membership to Desk Yogi. I haven’t started yet but intend on trying it out soon.
Overall I was extremely impressed with my first Yogi Surprise box. It had several little essentials for an outdoor adventure. The overall value of the box was $105 which isn’t bad for a $44.95 monthly cost. They also have a jewelry box for $24.99 and a men’s yoga box for $59.95. I am a new fan of Yogi Surprise and can’t wait to see what August has in store for us.
